Nasya Kamrat, Director/Executive Producer
FACULTY co-founder Nasya Kamrat is an award-winning producer and director with a passion for telling stories that are socially impactful. With over 10 years of experience in visual story-telling, Nasya’s background in multimedia theatre and film allows her to bring a cross-disciplinary approach to all of her projects. FACULTY is a collective of animators, designers, directors, producers, writers and artists. A full service production company that believes a meaningful idea fused with beautiful design and flawless execution can transcend traditional communication. Beyond this project, FACULTY is in post-production for their first feature length documentary, and are developing an animated narrative short.

Joshua Balgos, Director/Art Director
FACULTY co-founder Joshua Balgos is an animator and director who specializes in visual
storytelling through many forms of animation and filmmaking. After finishing his MA studies at The Royal College of Art in London, Joshua has continued to produce video and animated films. His work have been shown globally at film festivals, museums and art exhibitions including the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, Webby Awards, Huashen Culture Park, Zendia Moma, Kuandu Museum of Fine Art, Shanghai E-Arts Festival, Off Cuts, Sundance Film Festival, Liverpool Biennial, Bloomberg New Contemporaries, Rapture TV, Super Shorts Intl Film Festival, EmergeandSee, Portabello Film Festival, London Institute of Contemporary Art, and Onedotzero.

David Kamrat, Executive Producer
Born in Israel in 1952 and immigrating to Brooklyn, NY, in 1957, David is the son of Irving Kamrat, whose artwork inspired UNSPEAKABLE. After pursuing Jewish Studies in Hadar Hatorah and Morristown Rabbinical College, David and his wife Jane established Emunah Farm in the 1970s, one of the first kibbutz-style settlements in upstate New York. David is the founder of JAM and All, a nonprofit organization founded in 2001 after the 9/11 attacks with the mission to bring Jews, Muslims and people from all faiths together by creating a community that fosters dialog, education and cultural exchange.

Aaron Wolfe, Producer
Aaron Wolfe is a screenwriter, film editor, and Moth GrandSLAM winning storyteller that’s been featured on the Moth Podcast as well as the Moth Radio Hour. His award-winning short film “Record/Play” was an official selection at The Sundance Film Festival and was shortlisted for the 2014 Oscars. When he’s not busy working on “Unspeakable” and being a new dad, he’s busy writing the feature adaptation of his short film for Focus Features.

Brooke Smith, Associate Producer, Research & Development
Brooke attended Florida State University where she earned a BA in Theater and Cultural Anthropology
with an emphasis on Religion. She did graduate level work in Comparative Folk Religions where she
conducted fieldwork at the University Hillel. Further graduate studies and projects included various
media effects in Mass Media Communication and research in the field of Social Psychology on cults,
disaster behavior and the power of authority with an emphasis on the situational attribution theory of
behavior. This project is the culmination of a lifelong passion for studying Judaism, the Holocaust and the
spectrum of the human condition.

Michael Roderick is a composer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. He is the leader of Mood Area 52, an accordion and cello driven band that plays world Americana. Michael also performs in Scrambled Ape, a brass and wind ensemble that plays early 20th century jazz and klezmer. He has worked on many film-related music projects, has produced eight albums, and performs regularly in the Pacific Northwest.
Amy Danziger is a cellist, composer, and music teacher. She contributes to composition and arrangement on Mood Area 52’s music and also performs and records with many other Pacific Northwest musicians.
